On Sunday night we reflected on the portion of the Lord's Prayer that says, "
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." We had a great "jam session" exploring what "kingdom" means (many preferred words like "reign" or concepts like "up-side-down"). We will be continuing a series of conversations on the Lord's Prayer for the next month.
The prophet Ezekiel said that the kingdom of God is like a great cedar tree. Jesus likened it to a mustard seed. What are some of your images? Where do you experience the in-breaking of God's reign? Do you believe God's kingdom is here "on earth as it is in heaven"?
I saw a glimpse of God's kingdom today when I visited the Georgia Avenue Food Co-Op:

How about for you?
